Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Reading will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Pennsylvania usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6 am–10 pm. Reading is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Reading peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The biggest plus this restaurant has going for it, is that it's in the hotel. It has a nice atmosphere dark if you like that, I had dinner and breakfast there. Again big plus is convenience. The breakfast was better than the dinner. Real nice buffet, well stocked with a chef who does omelets to order. The serving staff at the buffet was interesting, very attentive and focused although the friendliness of each server varied from absolutely sweet to what could be characterized as brusque. In the dining room for dinner and the service was good friendly and on point. Nothing exceptional just good service. The menu is in a state of renewal, there are menu items that are no longer available and others that aren't on the menu. In my humble opinion the options they are taking off the menu are better than the ones they're putting on. Don't go here looking for any healthy food there is none just calorie-laden comfort food, but it probably is great for their after game crowds from the arena across the street. For breakfast this is great for any other meal I would seek out other options. Both meals the restaurant was relatively dead and looks like another Hotel restaurant trying to survive.

Great social atmosphere and decor. This restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing. Great place to have a date night or relax for a nice dinner. The Cajun BBQ chicken was very tender and delicious. The collard greens and Mac & cheese had a different taste then what I am used too but it wasnt bad. My wife who is a picky eater ate all of her food. I honestly only came to the restaurant because I was in Town for Berks Jazz fest. The restaurant validates parking at the Double Tree hotel. Since Berks Jazz fest had a concert at the hotel the restaurant was packed!! This place is known for their hot wings/ chicken wings. I had on a white silk shirt so I didnt try the wings, I didn't want to dirty my shirt. Next time I will definitely try them. Great overall experience. I highly Recommend Cheers if you are in Reading for a night or for a concert. I dont drink anymore but the place has a nice bar and it gets packed and plays music and has TVs.

We met some friends here for dinner on a Tuesday in March prior to going to a show at the Santander Performing Arts Center. This is located in the Doubletree hotel. They had reserved a table online ahead of time but there did seem to be plenty of available seating. Our server was friendly and attentive. She provided menus upon seating and was back quickly to take orders. The food came out quickly. I had the coq au vin. The vegetables and potatoes were good. The chicken was just ok for me. It was a little fatty and the sauce was somewhat salty. My friends all seemed to enjoy their meals. Prices were what we were expecting for a hotel restaurant but comparable to most other places we have been. The atmosphere was easygoing and casual. We parked in the hotel garage. It is metered by an app - in want to say it’s $10 to park but our server gave us a validation code for free parking.

Dinner: The eatery has a charming and cozy atmosphere. However, it is important to note that the online menu and available tables do not accurately represent the full menu offered in the restaurant. The dining options were quite limited, resembling more of an appetizer selection. I ordered the roasted salmon with spinach risotto, and while it was hot, the overall experience could have been improved with more variety on the menu. Breakfast: Get ready to kickstart your day with an incredible breakfast spread! There's an enticing array of delicious options for everyone to indulge in, all served piping hot. It's the perfect way to fuel your morning adventures!

Staying at the Double tree and normally don’t eat at the restaurant in hotels but this place is not your normal hotel diner. I had breakfast last month and it was outstanding so though I would try dinner. This cob is 18 bucks but, as you can see is a huge salad. So good. Would recommend to friends and family!
